Photo Chances работает в виде слайд шоу цифровых фотографий, добавляя в процессе просмотра желаемые фильтры и эффекты. Каждое изображение можно сохранить с примененным эффектом при использовании полного разрешения. Любое сохраненное изображение также содержит в себе "рецепт приготовления" того или иного эффекта, так что вы сможете применить этот эффект и к другим изображениям. Также присутствует дополнительное управление использования созданных эффектов, например: цвета, тональности и др.

PhotoChances is a program for Windows that will apply random photographic effects to your photos. With a large collection of filters
each with many variable parameters, it runs in two modes:

Slideshow: The program will show your digital photos with the effects chosen randomly.
You can pause the show at any time and capture the resulting image. The effect used for that particular image will be stored in the saved file
and the program will allow you to load and use that same effect on any other image with additional control.

Lab mode: Allows loading the "recipes" of the effects used in any image you captured previously with the program. Then you can choose
any target images to apply that effect and save them. There are additional controls to fine-tune the result. The program comes
preloaded with an assorted selection of "recipes" (effects) that you can expand with your own captures and the new Random Recipe button
will surprise you generating new effects on the image loaded.
There are more than 100 (some being subtle variations of others) many of them contain parameters that are set randomly each time
and can make little or more obvious differences. Additionally there are a few of the effects that consist on mixing others so actually
there are much more possible results.
Since version 2 this is a major feature in the program. Once you captured an image with an effect you can apply that same effect to any other image:
Run the PhotoChances Lab, open the image containing the effect in the "Recipes zone" (at the top) and open the image you want the effect applied
to in the "Target image" zone. (Instead of using the open button, both zones admit dragging the file on them) You can fine-tune the effect with the
controls at the right.
